As a Full Stack Engineer, you will execute front and backend development for Acclinate’s products and services. Your primary responsibility will be to implement platform features with a focus on user experience and engagement. You will report to the Director of Engineering, working with product management and other engineers to deliver features to our end users. This is a US-based, remote eligible position. Limited travel will be expected. South East-based candidates preferred.

Responsibilities
- Participate in feature planning and prioritization
- Support the Director of Engineering in identifying / exploring solution options for new feature implementation
- Contribute to technical design artifacts - e.g. solution architecture options, data modeling, API specifications, etc. - to guide development of features
- Execute high-priority development tasks as a part of the engineering team
- Perform code reviews and approvals for other developers
- Provide mentoring and coaching to junior team members
- Developing new user-facing features using Ruby on Rails, React.js, React Native and TailwindCSS
- Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
- Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code
- Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
Qualifications
- 3+ years as full stack/front-end engineer; Ruby/Rails and mobile experience is a plus
- Demonstrated experience in developing consumer applications
- Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
- Familiarity with TailwindCSS
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIsFamiliarity with TailwindCSS
- Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
- Experience with common front-end development tools
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
- Experience working with Relational databases and PostgreSQL
- A knack for benchmarking and optimization
