Acclinate Inc. seeks a passionate and experienced Key Account Manager to join our growing business development team. The Key Account Manager will be responsible for managing and growing strategic accounts within the pharmaceutical sector. This is a sales role focused on building strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs, and offering tailored solutions that align with their clinical trial diversity goals. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, exceptional communication skills, and a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and clinical trial processes.

Description

Responsibilities:

Account Management: Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key pharmaceutical clients. Serve as the main point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.

Sales Strategy: Create and execute strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and expand the company’s presence within the pharmaceutical industry. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts.

Client Solutions: Understand clients’ clinical trial diversity challenges and needs. Collaborate with internal teams to develop and present customized solutions that address these needs effectively.

Market Insight: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory requirements related to clinical trial diversity. Provide insights to clients to help them navigate these areas.

Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, product development, and customer success teams to ensure a cohesive approach to client management and solution delivery.

Reporting: Monitor and report on account performance, sales metrics, and market conditions. Provide regular updates to the Head of Business Development and contribute to sales forecasting and planning.

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in sales or account management within the pharmaceutical or clinical research industry.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, life sciences, or a related field.

Skills: Strong sales acumen with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to understand complex clinical trial processes and diversity requirements.

Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, clinical trials, and the importance of diversity in research. Familiarity with regulatory guidelines and industry best practices.

Personal Attributes: Self-motivated, results-driven, and client-focused. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Salary

$85,000 - $110,000 per year
