Acclinate is seeking a creative event enthusiast to join our team. As Community Events Coordinator, you’ll be crucial in planning and executing events to grow and engage our NOWINCLUDED community. We’re looking for a detail-oriented individual with a passion for events and a community-building knack. This role will work closely with our Brand Experience Lead to bring strategies to life while supporting project, content, and brand initiatives.

Description

Responsibilities:

● Coordinate logistics for in-person and digital events, including staffing and sourcing vendors and materials

● Identify local community events to attend and amplify through the NOWINCLUDED brand

● Develop and manage a robust events calendar based on priorities and OKRs

● Create planning documents to track details and timelines, while keeping tasks and deadlines updated in the project management tool

● Prepare detailed event guides to prep the team and ensure onsite execution meets brand standards

● Oversee post-event reporting to ensure metrics, insights, and partner opportunities are documented for additional follow-up

● Maintain inventory of materials, equipment, and swag

● Help track expenses to ensure event/project budgets are reconciled accurately

● Assist in building and executing a comprehensive communications plan for in-person and digital events

● Provide copy for event landing pages, pre-/post-event communications, and reports

● Collaborate across teams to identify PR opportunities to highlight local boots-on-the-ground efforts to increase brand awareness

Qualifications:

● Proven experience (2-4 years) in event planning with an emphasis on community engagement

● Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks

● Excellent written, communication, and interpersonal skills

● Experience with design tools such as Canva and Adobe Creative Suite

● Creative mindset, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

● Passion for engaging communities of color around health and wellness

Nice to haves:

● Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field

● Experience working with and maintaining relationships with vendors

● Open to travel for onsite event execution

● Proficient in HubSpot

● Knack for refining and streamlining processes

Salary

$60,000 - $70,000 per year
