As the Contracts and Billing Specialist, you will be a key operations team member, responsible for managing all aspects of the accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and contracting processes. This role requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with strong analytical and communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in managing AP/AR functions and experience with contract negotiation and management.

Description

Key Responsibilities:

Contracting

    • Assist with drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts with vendors and clients.
    • Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions.
    • Maintain accurate contract records and track key contract dates.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure contracts meet business needs.

Accounts Payable (AP)

    • Manage the accounts payable cycle, including invoice processing, approval routing, and payment processing.
    • Ensure timely and accurate payment of vendor invoices.
    • Maintain accurate vendor records and reconcile vendor statements.
    • Identify and resolve discrepancies in invoices and statements.
    • Prepare and process expense reports.
    • Assist with month-end closing procedures.

Accounts Receivable (AR)

    • Manage the accounts receivable cycle, including invoicing, payment processing, and collections.
    • Generate and send invoices to clients.
    • Monitor customer accounts for timely payments.
    • Follow up on outstanding invoices and resolve payment issues.
    • Reconcile customer accounts and prepare reports on outstanding receivables.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in AP/AR and contract management.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary
