What will you do?
The Manager of Dealer Accounts is a critical leadership role that will serve as the architect of the company’s customer success strategy to deliver aggressive growth. S/he will have overall accountability for team development, customer portfolio development, and revenue growth.
As the customer portfolio grows, this individual will build an account team to support the growth. Specifically, s/he will be tasked with implementing a robust customer onboarding process and team structure to scale the organization.
Responsibilities:
Team Development
- Lead and develop a team of Account Executives (AEs) who serve as the main interface between Carpool and our portfolio of accounts.
- Oversee efficient load planning and manage the execution of daily vehicle shipments.
- Ensure timely communication with urgency to deliver excellent customer experience.
- Build strong operational rigor around goal setting, performance measurement, and accountability.
- Foster a culture of excellence that motivates team members to perform at their highest level and deliver consistent results.
Account Management - Execute strategy with full responsibility for the retention, growth, and profitability of assigned accounts.
- Partner closely with the Sales organization to ensure proper and seamless account implementation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure engagement and satisfaction.
- Maintain regular touchpoints with customers’ senior leadership to strengthen alignment with strategic priorities and expand long-term partnerships.
- Establish processes and oversee execution to consistently meet customer KPIs.
- Leverage analytics to review shipment data and handle regular business reviews.
- Develop detailed and accurate annual revenue forecasts for your account portfolio.
- Ensure customers realize measurable value through the effective adoption and utilization of Carpool’s products and services.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- 5+ years of customer facing and team leadership experience.
- Automotive or logistics experience preferred.
- Ability to engage across all levels of a customer’s organization including C-Level.
- Demonstrated ability to present the value proposition of a technology platform.
- Strong project management skills to keep all the moving pieces organized and on time.
- Exceptional client-facing skills – enthusiasm, energy, and excellent communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Willingness to travel, as needed.
Total Compensation Package:
