Position Summary

As an Assistant Market Manager at our company you’ll work closely with our team to successfully balance our three-sided marketplace consisting of our customers, consumers, and driver network. In creating this balance you’ll oversee onboarding training, coaching, and retention efforts to elevate quality and efficiency metrics.

Equally as important, you will collaborate with our team to provide consultative support to our customers while evaluating and evolving operational processes to improve user experience. Your engagement with both the driver network and customers will put you in a great position to quickly solve and innovate the challenges that arise from day to day operations.

Job Responsibilities

Operational Support

  • Assist in planning and coordinating operations activities to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.
  • Support the Operations Manager in developing and implementing operational policies, procedures, and systems.
  • Monitor daily operations and address any issues or discrepancies promptly.
  • Assist in recruiting, training, and developing new employees and independent contractors.

Process Improvement

  • Identify areas for process improvement and efficiency enhancement.
  • Implement best practices and innovative solutions to streamline operations.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement.
  • Serve as a liaison between the operations team and other departments.
  • Address operational queries and concerns from internal and external stakeholders.

Account Management

  • Demonstrate a mastery of our products in order to best manage technology rollouts and high adoption rates.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with customers to become an invaluable business partner.
  • You’ll assess the operational and financial impacts of market decisions, and iterate based on data to build scalable solutions to improve our overall business.
  • Gather and design site specific information which will be translated to our driver network.
  • Facilitate continued education and trainings among the customers in-market

Our dream candidate has…

  • 1+ year of team management experience with 10+ employees
  • Has experience in team coaching and leadership in a fast-paced consumer services environment
  • Has experience in managing complex stakeholders, vendors and partnership operations
  • Has experience in operational or process improvement
  • Has flexibility in their schedule. You may be required to work any day of the week, across daily operating hours
  • Has a desire to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment – understands the importance of experimentation and iteration.
  • Willing to relocate for growth opportunities
  • Deep and demonstrated understanding of service excellence in a consumer environment.
