Millions of homeowners no longer have adequate home insurance as roof coverage is effectively being excluded. We invented a first-of-its-kind weather data-driven wind/hail policy that enables us to reduce fraud and provide more affordable coverage.

We are growing fast and to scale responsibly, we need to attract exceptional talent across every function including sales, software engineering, marketing, and product. About The Role

You'll own recruiting at Sola, helping us identify, attract, and close exceptional talent across business, sales, marketing, technical, and operational roles.

You'll partner directly with the founders and leadership team to define what great looks like, design thoughtful hiring processes, and build the systems that let us scale without lowering the bar. As we grow, you'll help shape our talent brand, hiring philosophy, and recruiting infrastructure.

What You'll Do

  • Own full-cycle recruiting across multiple roles simultaneously, from intake to close
  • Partner with leadership to define role scorecards and success profiles
  • Source proactively and creatively to attract high-quality candidates
  • Run structured, high-signal interview processes that respect candidates' time
  • Build and refine recruiting systems, workflows, and reporting
  • Elevate candidate experience so every interaction reflects Sola's standards
  • Contribute to employer branding and talent messaging as we grow our reputation as a place exceptional people want to work
  • Track and improve key recruiting metrics including time to fill, offer acceptance rate, and quality of hire

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of recruiting experience, agency or in-house
  • Proficient with modern recruiting tools like Ashby and LinkedIn Recruiter
  • Experience hiring across multiple functions, startup experience strongly preferred
  • Proven track record of sourcing and closing high-quality talent
  • Strong judgment in assessing people beyond their resume
  • Ability to operate autonomously and move quickly without sacrificing rigor
  • Clear communicator who can influence hiring managers and push for high standards
  • Experience building or improving recruiting processes from scratch
  • Comfortable working directly with founders and senior leaders
