The Opportunity

UptimeHealth is an early stage start-up company looking for a driven sales professional to be an early member of our growing BDR team. You’ll be the first point of contact for potential opportunities generating leads by researching, developing, and qualifying revenue opportunities, conducting cold calling, setting meetings. Being an early team member you will have the opportunity to learn all aspects of the business and grow in your career.

Responsibilities

The Business Development Representative role is critical to UptimeHealth’s continued growth. You will have an opportunity to play a significant role as we scale our sales organization. We need someone who is high energy, driven, and excited to build something special with us!

You will:

  • Book meetings and demonstration calls for Sales Executives
  • Engage, respond, and qualify both inbound and outbound leads
  • Conduct high level discovery calls with prospects
  • Achieve daily, weekly and monthly pipeline goals and KPIs
  • Work closely with Sales Executives, engaging with prospects and transitioning leads
  • Assist in developing and testing new strategies to reach sales targets
  • Maintain a self-starter attitude while implementing and evolving outreach strategies for new-lead generation.
  • Be part of a small team, meaning you will sometimes be asked to be flexible and go above and beyond your role.
  • Potential of travel to industry events 10% of time

About You:

  • You’ve held a similar role and thrived for 1-3 years in a software sales organization, with SaaS experience preferred.
  • You have experience in Healthcare, strongly preferred
  • A problem solver who learns quickly and thinks outside the box
  • Storyteller, who listens comprehends, and responds
  • Self-Driven, self-accountable
  • Adaptable and understands the dynamics of a start-up environment
  • Desire to be part of a close and growing startup team
